Dear RMS Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to share that we will be holding a voluntary dress-up day for Halloween. We see this as a fun, community-building event, similar to our Homecoming Spirit Days, and we appreciate your support in making it a success within our guidelines for learning!
Dress-Up Guidelines for a Learning Focus
*Our primary goal is to ensure a safe and productive learning environment. Therefore, we ask that you review these guidelines with your student:
*Focus on Learning: Costumes must not be distracting or impede classroom activities.
No Masks, Face Paint, or Accessories: For safety and to prevent disruptions, students should not wear masks, full face paint, or distracting accessories.
*If deemed not for learning: If a costume is deemed distracting or inappropriate by the administration or a teacher, the student will be asked to change into their typical day-to-day school clothes.
We are giving this dress-up day a try, trusting our students to manage the fun responsibly. Please know that this is a trial run. If the activity leads to excessive distraction or an increase in negative behaviors, we will not continue to offer dress-up days of this nature in the future.
Urgent Reminder: Pig Raffle Deadline Tomorrow!
This is a final reminder that the deadline for the Pig Raffle ticket sales is tomorrow, October 31st!
Please ensure your student has sold tickets! This is a key fundraiser for our school, and we appreciate everyone who participated!
Thank you for your partnership in making both our dress-up day positive and our fundraiser a success!
Sincerely,
The RMS Staff

In honor of National School Bus Safety Week-To all of our CCSD #1 Transportation Staff: Thank you for your hard work and commitment. You ensure our students arrive at school and return home safely, and we appreciate your efforts more than you know. You take them to and from activities and athletic events all around the state (and other states) and sometimes, you drive in not so nice Wyoming winter weather. But we know our students are safe with you, and we appreciate all you do!

"Band and Choir Fundraising items will be in by the end of school on Friday. As the items are frozen, they will need to be picked up right away and either delivered or put in a freezer."

It's National School Bus Safety Week!
It takes a community and a great transportation department to ensure our students come and go from school safely. Our students are our most precious gift and keeping them safe is a top priority at Carbon #1. Thank you to everyone who contributes to that goal!
