Athletics Update
Football: Both teams faced tough losses against Wheatland today, but the players showed incredible growth from last week and continue to build momentum week to week!
7th Grade Volleyball:
A Team: Fought hard through every single set, coming away with close losses against Lander and Riverton.
B Team: Swept the day with fantastic wins over both Riverton and Lander!
8th Grade Volleyball: Dominated the court to go completely undefeated! Both A and B teams secured big wins over Riverton and Lander!
Outstanding effort, grit, and sportsmanship from all our athletes who traveled and competed today! 🏐🏈

Dear Rawlins Middle School Families,
On Wednesday, September 2, 6th grade students will be invited to attend a mental health presentation and workshop hosted by the JCK Foundation. 7th & 8th grade will be participating in small group breakout sessions. The program focuses on mental health awareness, coping strategies, reducing stigma, and identifying support resources.
Participation is entirely voluntary. We sent an email out yesterday with a link for Parent Consent detailing the event information. It must be filled out to inform us if you would like your child to attend or NOT attend. We must have this form filled out no later than 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. We also sent a paper form with your student today. Students who do not participate will be provided with an alternative activity.

El miércoles 2 de septiembre, se invita a los estudiantes de 6.º grado a asistir a una presentación y taller sobre salud mental organizado por la JCK Foundation. Los estudiantes de 7.º y 8.º grado participarán en sesiones de trabajo en grupos pequeños. El programa se enfoca en la concientización sobre la salud mental, estrategias de afrontamiento, la reducción del estigma y la identificación de recursos de apoyo.
La participación es completamente voluntaria. Ayer enviamos un correo electrónico con un enlace para el Consentimiento de los Padres que detalla la información del evento. Debe completarse para informarnos si desea o NO desea que su hijo/a asista. Debemos recibir este formulario lleno a más tardar a las 9:00 a. m. de mañana por la mañana. Hoy también enviamos un formulario en papel con su estudiante. A los estudiantes que no participen se les asignará una actividad alternativa.
