Color Run Update! We are currently only seeing 21% of students have participated to fundraise for this year’s Color Run. That means nearly 4 out of 5 students haven’t contributed yet—and that’s not the kind of effort our school is known for. This money goes back to a great cause, Ribbons of Hope and our school. Want a t-shirt? Fundraise. Want an Ohana gift card? Fundraise. Want a goodie bag? Fundraise. It’s that simple. But here’s the key: you HAVE to share the link. Fundraising doesn’t happen if people don’t know about it. Post it on Facebook, share it on Instagram, text it to family members, send it to friends—get the word out however you can. Let’s not settle for 21%. Let’s get to 100%! Share this link NOW! Check your email for your individual link. https://app.99pledges.com/fund/4thannualRMS Reach out to the PE department if you have any questions: Charli Hetherington - chetherington@crb1.net Frank Arce - farce@crb1.net Dillon Karajanis - dkarajanis@crb1.net

Rawlins High School's gym will be getting resurfaced this summer. During that process the "Outlaw" horse at center court will be stripped down and re-painted. There has been some discussion about whether the rendition of the horse should be altered/updated or whether the present rendition should continue to be used. The two horses are nearly identical in shape, but one has more definition and detail, while the other is the traditional silhouette of the horse.

We are simply interested in seeing how you, as a member of the community, feel about which of the two options you would prefer to have on the gym floor at RHS.

Thank you for your vote. Here is the link to the survey

Dear Families,

As we head into Spring Break tomorrow March 20th, we want to share a few important points and conversation starters to have with your student around the dinner tables, vacation spots or just in general conversation. As a Professional Learning Community (PLC) school, we value the partnership between home and school, and we know that these conversations are key to your student's success.

Preparing for WY-TOPP Testing (April 28th, 29th, May 5th, & 6th)

The WY-TOPP assessments are just around the corner after we return! We encourage you to talk with your students about preparing for the tests and the work they have done so far this year in preparation for the test. Our overall game plan is simple: come in ready to do your best. Encourage them to get their blood flowing with some activity, mentally check-in, get their headspace right, and focus on simply doing their very best.

Supporting Focus: Appropriate Fidget Tools

We recognize that some students benefit from using fidgets to maintain focus. We want to ensure that any items brought to school are supportive of a quiet learning environment. Please talk with your student about the guidelines:
What Works: Quiet fidgets, sized to fit discreetly in the student's hand.
What Doesn’t Work: Items that make noise, have lights, or are bigger than the student's hand.
The Importance of Privacy and Security

As your students grow, they are entrusted with important personal information and school resources. Please reinforce the importance of keeping this information private:
Sharing: Remind them not to share technology access (computers and account passwords) or personal combinations (like locker combinations). This helps protect their privacy and school resources.
Responsible Technology Usage

Our school technology is a vital learning tool, and we appreciate your support in teaching responsible use.
Computer Usage: Please discuss utilizing computers appropriately and staying on approved, educational sites.
Taking Care: Remind them to keep the protective cases on their computers at all times. A gentle reminder that taking care of school property is important: it costs $75 to replace a screen and $50 to replace a keyboard if damaged and the cost could result in a fee or fine. It is the student(s) (families) responsibilities to cover these costs if it is deemed intentional or damaged on purpose. If it is determined that it was accidental we understand that it can happen and are willing to work with the students and families.
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure a safe, focused, and productive learning environment for ALL our students.

We wish you a wonderful and restful Spring Break! We will see you ALL back on Monday March 30th!

Enjoy your Break,
