Happy Friday, RMS Families!
We can’t believe we’re already 21 days into the school year! Our students have been working hard, persevering through academic challenges, and navigating everything that makes middle school such a unique time. We’re proud of their progress, and we’re grateful for your partnership every step of the way.
Here are a few quick updates, reminders and opportunities as we head into the weekend:
Upcoming 3-Day Weekend
No School on Monday, September 21st: Staff will be participating in a district professional development day.
Classes Resume: We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday, September 22nd!
RMS Annual Pig Raffle Fundraiser! 🐷 With the long weekend ahead, it’s a great time for students to share their raffle links! Thanks to RNB State Bank, one lucky winner will receive a processed pig.
At RMS, learning thrives because of our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Fundraisers like this directly support the extra learning opportunities and fun experiences that make RMS a unique educational experience.
How to buy: Every student has been emailed a personal link to share with family and friends.
General Link: You can also visit our RMS Pig Raffle Main Site to search for your student or donate directly. No amount is too small, and every bit helps!
Partnering for Success: Quick Reminders
Dinner Table Conversations: We’re working hard to foster a safe, welcoming environment. Please take a moment this weekend to talk with your child about keeping hands to themselves, managing frustration constructively, and seeking out a trusted adult whenever they need support resolving a conflict. Fidget Guidance: Fidgets can be great tools for focus, but they can quickly turn into distractions. Please make sure any fidgets brought to school are smaller than your student's hand, silent, and do not light up.
Thank you again for your ongoing support, encouragement, and backing. Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
The RMS Staff
Families: Buses #1, #7 and Red Cow will be running late today fof after school drop off.
